Perficient is currently looking for a SharePoint Architect/Developer located in our Denver, CO office.

Description :
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications leveraging the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server/Windows SharePoint Services platform. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Requires a bachelor's degree and/or 4-6 years of field experience. Extensive experience with Software Development Practices including Source Control, Configuration Management, Unit Testing and Object Oriented Design patterns. Reports directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Job Requirements:
Configuration and setup of SharePoint Server, with the underlying Configuration and Content Databases and deployment of the SharePoint portals.

Development of custom web parts using the Server Object Model or Web Services.

Integration of enterprise content with SharePoint to include, content management, content indexing, personalization, workflow, and user access management and restricting access to content.

Expert level experience with Microsoft SharePoint technologies, MOSS 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and IIS

Actively analyze and verify complex technical components of the SharePoint architecture, and provide specific recommendations to guide development planning on future upgrades and maintenance

Professional standards-based web development using ASP.Net, C#, HTML, CSS, CAML, JavaScript/jQuery, ASP.Net AJAX, AJAX SharePoint Toolkit , Silverlight

Deep ASP.NET development experience with regard to SharePoint including MasterPage, Application page, Site Page development.

SharePoint interaction with ISA Servers or related security/web devices including Load Balancing and SSL technology

Design, develop and support all database solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, functions and schemes, to enable and support development objectives.

Provide technical guidance and leadership on SharePoint implementation, administration, deployments, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and stress testing.

Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, plan and repair performance and scalability issues in the development lifecycle to sustain growth and maintain good performance.

Responsible for researching, and evaluating new features, technologies and current trends to provide innovative ideas in support of both tactical and strategic development initiatives

Develop and integrate new features and functionality or develop enhancements to existing functionality of the applications as requested by customer.

Experience:
3+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint MOSS 2007 development including feature/solution packaging, tools to assist in WSP creation, extensive understanding of CAML

3+ years experience in developing reports and dashboards with SharePoint 2007 including SSRS, Excel Services and KPIs

2+ years experience in developing PerformancePoint applications in Sharepoint

+2 years experience in Window Workflow Foundation (WWF)

Good working knowledge on VS 2005, VS 2008 Team server and .Net 2.0 to .Net 3.5 framework

Nice to have:
Experience with implementing SQL Server Reporting Services with SharePoint integrated mode

Experience with VS2010 and SharePoint 2010 Beta

Experience developing with SharePoint Server controls

Experience with SharePoint designer

This is a full time position with Perficient's National Microsoft Practice based out of our Denver, CO office.
