The Seasons Gift Shop, located in Borgess Medical Center is seeking candidates for a Part Time (23 hrs/wk) Temporary Retail Assistant.
Assists Gift Shop Manager with daily operations of the Gift Shop sales floor. Interacts with volunteers to provide assistance as needed to maintain efficiency and quality customer service.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Knowledge of basic math, record keeping and accounting skills at a level acquired through completion of a high school education.
- Requires knowledge of retail business, which can be obtained in six months to one-year on-the-job work experience.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with volunteers, patients and medical center customers.
- Ability to effectively operate point-of-sale cash register, for the purpose of performing business transactions.
- Analytical ability to problem-solve and seek guidance from Gift Shop Manager as necessary.
