At least two years of prior college-level teaching experience, employment experience in software development, and experience in developing new courses and programs are preferred.

This instructor is expected to teach twenty-four credit hours per academic year in the areas of college-level computer programming including object-oriented programming, Internet software development, relational database design, computer applications including MS Office, operating systems including Windows and Linux, engineering software including MATLAB and 3D CAD, and computer graphics including Flash and Photoshop. Additional responsibilities include the development and participation in special college projects, development of new instructional techniques, course and program development, and participation in other college and community service activities consistent with the mission of the college and Connecticut community college system. Teaching load may include evenings and weekend classes.
$47,705.00 approximate annual salary, with full benefits package.
