Type of Appointment: **This is a Temporary Appointment Not to Exceed September 30, 2013.**
This position is located at Otis Air National Guard Base, Buzzards Bay, MA in the Mission Support Group, Logistical Readiness Squadron (LRS) of the Massachusetts Air National Guard and is shared between the Regional Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) and the Regional Munitions Storage Area (MSA). The incumbent is to ensure the timely and quality maintenance of regional assets being controlled, inspected and repaired.

- Only experience gained by closing date of this position will be considered
- Plan and schedule a wide variety of complex Test, Measurement, & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) equipment into and out of the Regional Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) laboratory for calibration and/or repair;
- Serve as customer service/liaison between PMEL and customers;
- Assist with the loading and unloading TMDE equipment received for calibration;
- Receive shipping requests or other authority for shipment;
- Assist other personnel in assigning proper classification to items received as new stock.
In order to qualify for GS-1152-9, Production Controller , you must meet one of the following:
Have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-8 grade level in the Federal service, scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned; analyzing for adjustments in materials, machine processes work sequences allowing for changes; using automation support programs to input data, monitor job order status, requisition repair parts, etc.
