Description
Candidates will be required to maintain schedules for material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control. Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. Analysis of production work orders, long range shortages and inventory transactions are the primary functions. Assist in determining possible and implementing shortage mitigation and correction actions to correct these deficiencies. Use knowledge of production, procurement, and methods departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action. Candidate must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate with internal and external organizations via all means of communication. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to multitask and have the self discipline to work as a member of a very small work team.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma required. SAP/ERP, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, etc.) with an emphasis on data mining skills associated with utilizing MS Excel in conjunction with SAP text file downloads.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge or experience with: production work order release processes.
