As a Supervisor on a Total Facility Management Site, you will be responsible for influencing customer satisfaction, and overseeing Facility personnel, operations, maintenance, safety and quality. Be experienced with all aspects of Facilities Management and Operations for multiple office buildings, Commercial and Industrial facilities. Have an in depth working knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance philosophies, Repair Parts Supply and Inventory, Construction and Building renovation techniques, Industry Best Practices and a thorough understanding and working knowledge of plumbing installations and repairs . You will supervise an on-site staff to ensure operational success at a specific location. Report daily production, monitor quality, set up for maintenance, ensure compliance with permits, and assist and support the Program Manager.
May administer small business plans and participate in subcontract negotiations.
Responds to office occupant inquiries concerning facility maintenance concerns.
Provides solutions and/or coordinates actions with the Program Manager.
Work is multi-faceted and complex requiring coordination and integration
Manage services and repair activities, account for inventory and assist with other operational needs.
Assists in the implementation SOP’s and Best Practices.
Supervises the operation and maintenance of the assigned facility.
Uses excellent communication to update staff on policies / procedures / changes
Ensure compliance with OHSA, DOT and Safety Requirements and Training
Assists in the leadership of the assigned operational team for the purpose of implementing Productivity Improvement Plans, Service Plans, and Continuous Quality Improvement Plans.
Ensure proper documentation of materials, labor, and equipment is preformed to ensure accurate invoicing.
Supervises the functions of a facility including services involving building, structure, grounds, installed equipment and utilities.
Supervises TQ efforts/processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participates in the determination of policy changes in meeting the needs of the customer.
Plans, assigns, and evaluates the work of subordinates.
Assists the Program Manager with safety initiatives to include training, investigation, reporting and correcting hazards. Ensure environmental compliance, monitor and oversee quality and process controls as well as trouble resolution processes. Responsible for safety and security within scope of work by proper use of personnel and equipment and the adherence to established policies.
Possess the ability to pass a background check. Have at least 3 years of progressive related experience in facility operations, inventory management, purchasing management, government procurement systems. At least 2 years in a Facility Maintenance/Management environment with supervisory experience. Skill in inventory and material management techniques which include packing, handling, storage and preservation. H.S. Diploma with formal education that one would attain via a Plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent; experience considered in lieu of education. Must be detail oriented, computer literate and possess adequate communication skills including the ability to read, write, and understand English and basic correspondence and the ability to recognize and sequence numbers and letters. Familiarity with federal contracts, safety and personnel management regulations; ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact, train and resolve the personnel issues of staff with assorted disabilities. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently, must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task. Lifting/moving up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
