The Medical Economics Consultant will work collaboratively with business units across the Company providing medical cost and outcomes, focused analytical research, financial modeling and business decision support reporting. The team that the candidate will work with is engaged in all aspects of the analytic lifecycle from program ideation/business case development through outcomes studies, report development and financial support to providers. Responsibilities: - Create actionable financial projections, decision support models, and financial reporting for new and evolving products, programs and initiatives- Develop innovative analytics, insights and solutions for medical cost drivers, program valuation studies and network design/provider reimbursement issues
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Skills: - High level leadership skills in working across a highly matrixed organization.- High level skill in conceptualizing and creating complex financial models- Detailed knowledge of medical cost drivers and claim data- Ability to extract and manipulate data from the Data Warehouse using Access, SAS, Excel - Analyze the data and present the information effectively to internal and external constituents
