Description

Responsible for internal sales and marketing support for a defined list of external Consultant Relations executives. Works with team to execute sales, relationship building, and retention efforts around investment strategies, performance and competitive positioning. Works closely with consultant relations team and business development, product management, marketing, client service, legal/compliance and other areas within the firm to provide administrative support of consultant relations activities. Must be able to work independently.
  • Ensures timely and complete resolution of all consultant inquiries and field support needs.
  • Reviews consultant due diligence questionnaires and requests for information to ensure deadlines are met and information is accurate.
  • Monitors and helps manage territory goals and objectives, reporting and other support functions.
  • Leverages in-house CRM and other databases to track consultant activity, interactions and the progression of each relationship.
  • Responsible for internal/external meeting preparation (competitive analysis and industry intelligence) and follow up, including presentation & prep materials.
  • Prepares new business and strategy/client review presentations in coordination with institutional marketing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to create effective presentation materials and product positioning
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
  • At least one to three years’ experience in the financial services industry
  • Institutional investment management background preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
  • PC usage up to 100% of the time.
  • Office equipment such as telephone, copier, and fax machines, etc.
  • Cellular phone and/or digital pager may be required.
  • Overtime and weekend hours may be required.
