Description:
The Business Intelligence Developer II works with ARGO's business analysts, project managers and customers on requirements gathering and translation of requirements to technical specifications. This position works primarily with and at the direction of the Business Intelligence Developer Lead in designing and deploying data warehouse and analysis services reports, SQL Server Analysis Services cubes, and the ownership and management of customer-facing issues and incidents related to their areas of assigned ownership. The position interacts frequently with internal customers.
Duties:
: Building and maintain moderately complex SQL Server OLAP data marts
: Modeling and working with complex dimensional table relationships.
: Writing, debugging, maintaining, testing and documenting complex T- SQL queries.
: Creating data mart models, schemas, views and other database artifacts.
: Builds, maintains and debugs reporting infrastructure around line of business applications.
: Designs, builds and tests complex SSIS data transformation packages.
: Design relational and OLAP database objects in support of stated deliverables.
: Modify and create simple .Net projects and able to write vb.net code.
Qualifications:
: Prior experience and ability writing, debugging, maintaining, testing and documenting complex MDX queries.
: Technical experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Integration Services
: Understanding of relational and OLAP data modeling principles, design concepts and patterns
: Knowledge of and ability to create, maintain and test SQL Server Analysis cubes.
: Able to travel as required, no more than 25% of the time
: U.S. Citizen or permanently authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred:
: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or CIS.
: Experience executing unit and QA testing and writing test scripts and cases is strongly preferred.
