Job Duties & Responsibilities
Reports to the Chief Pilot. Is the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of company jet aircraft transporting personnel. Is responsible for assuring safety, comfort and convenience of embarked passengers. Must maintain high proficiency in the knowledge of aircraft systems, meteorology, and flight regulations. Must possess the analytical ability to make proper decisions in regard to changing weather and aircraft system emergencies. Is required to undergo aircraft recurrent training twice annually and other such aviation related training as may be prescribed by the Aviation Department.
The PIC supervises the aircraft preflight, prepares and files flight plans, and supervises fueling as well as passenger and baggage loading consistent with weight and balance requirements. Is responsible for accurately maintaining flight and maintenance records, and for ensuring that catering needs of passengers and crew are met. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
Minimum of 4000 hours of flight time
Minimum of 2000 hours of Pilot in Command time
Minimum of 1500 hours flight time in turbojet aircraft
Bachelors or high school diploma and previous 5 years of flying experience
3 years experience as a corporate pilot
