The electrical engineer works within a project team for the realization of multi-discipline projects during basic and detailed engineering phases. Work in close cooperation with vendors to translate functional specifications into technical solutions. Work with other disciplines as required for the execution of the work.
Manage a team comprising a Staff Electrical Engineer and Electrical Designers
Writing and reviewing electrical specifications and vendor documentation
Procurement of electrical equipment including follow-up (FAT)
Provide Construction Field Support as required
Prepare Scope of Works (SOW)
Design of Electrical Systems
Perform Electrical Systems Studies e.g. short circuit, load studies, relay co-ordination and settings
Support Business Development
Travel opportunities: 20%
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical utility industry with an engineering contractor EPC
Knowledge of electrical system calculation
Good communication and social skills
Start up and commissioning experience
Ability to work in a dynamic fast track lump sum turnkey driven environment
Experience with ETAP,CAD, MS Office
Legally authorized to work in USA on a full-time basis
