The Building Operating Engineer will be assigned to troubleshoot, diagnose and make all necessary repairs to all building equipment and/or systems. Equipment to include: Chillers, boilers, water softeners, emergency generators, ATS's, UST's, motors, compressors, pneumatic controls, pneumatic tubes, plumbing systems,building automated and facility management systems. Knowledge and ability to perform all water chemistry testing for the Central Plant to include data collection of test results.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associates of Engineering or technical disciplines in Plant Operations, HVAC or Plumbing and/or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in Plumbing, HVAC or Pipefitter.
Certification/License: State of Alaska journeyman Plumber preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years experience as a Building Operating Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with commercial building operations.
