Under the direction of the Applications Manager or the designee, the programmer analyst will be responsible to evaluate and document user request for new or modified program, such as for blood banking, recruitment and collections, operation, clinical areas, financial, and/or human resource systems. Analyzing and developing specifications for bridge design, to determine feasibility, cost and time required with focus on compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities.
The Analysts will be responsible to develop computer program, modules, and systems as needed. Also, develop and/or modify, prepare test data, perform unit testing, and implement computer programs in accordance with development standards and organizational goals.
In addition to regularly scheduled hours, the incumbent is subject to working extra-time, weekends, holidays, late evenings, and early in the day.
•Minimum associate degree; bachelor's degree is a plus. Relevant work experience in the industry may make up for the lack of a 4-year degree, but bachelor's degrees in a computer related discipline, mathematics, or engineering is preferred.
•Oracle, SQL Server, LINUX, UNIX or Windows working knowledge.
•Web design and development certification is a plus
