Setup and operation of the Magnapak, all downstream equipment, troubleshooting,
staging inserts, maintenance, cleanup of mail-room equipment, and redistribution
of the workforce.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Can fully set up the Magnapak.
Assists Packaging Supervisor with inserter work assignments to redistribute
resources as needed.
Troubleshoots mechanical and set-up problems.
Retrieves and stages inserts correctly and promptly.
Performs the daily maintenance, set-up, and cleanup of mail-room equipment.
Assumes other positions when required.
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong mechanical ability
Strong oral communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills, able to troubleshoot mechnical or set-up
problems
Experience operating pallet jack, a plus
Able to lift 25 to 40 pounds
Able to work night shift and Saturdays
