Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Business Administration
Area of Specialization: Marketing
Classification: Tenure-track (10-month contract)
Status: Full-time
DESCRIPTION: Applications are invited for a tenure-track appointment that begins August 2011. The full-time teaching load is 12 semester hours per term (fall and spring) with a 10-month contract, August through May. This position may involve teaching in the evening program and at off-site locations.
QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate, with either teaching or professional experience in marketing. The successful applicant will be student centered and willing to help students reach their full potential through both classroom experiences and internship opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses in Marketing and Management, developing outcomes assessment instruments for marketing courses, advising students, serving on College Committees, and refining and developing the Marketing Curriculum. The candidate should demonstrate the potential to teach courses in all areas of Marketing, including Marketing Research, as well as Principles of Management.
