Responsible and accountable to operate cardiac diagnostic equipment in order to provide high quality cardiac diagnostic testing. This includes: electrocardiogram, holter monitor hook-up and disconnect, stress testing and conscious sedation monitoring as eligible according to education, training and experience. Perform a variety of support services and clerical tasks as dictated by department and patient needs. Minimum Requirements: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure.
BLS Health Care Provider. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure. Cardiac dysrhythmia knowledge and recognition. One year working as a cardiac nurse in an acute care hospital setting.
Cardiology anatomy and physiology, terminology. Influenza vaccination will be required for all personnel working within LVHN, who have patient contact, unless medically contraindicated or due to a bonafide religious belief or practice. Preferred Qualifications: Three years working as a cardiac nurse in an acute care hospital setting.
