To perform the basic functions associated with the operation, set up and cleaning of their specific equipment with cGMP guidelines. Under close supervision, performs limited or routine packaging of a variety of solid dosage forms (Tablets/Capsules). Cleans, assembles and disassembles all packaging equipment. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Caraco's policies, procedures and state, federal and local laws. Follows verbal and written instructions provided by the Line leader and/or the Packaging supervisor for packaging various products. Performs packaging duties using packaging equipment or manually if packaging equipment is not available. Follows Standard Operating Procedures and manuals related to materials safety sheets, safety, packaging, cleaning, assembly and disassembly of machinery. Follows written instructions to complete tasks for beginning of packaging, completing a batch, batch records and related SOPs. Performs simple mathematical calculations and data entries required to assist in the completion of the packaging batch. Attends all safety and packaging training sessions when required. Meets project deadlines and performance standards. Meets standard of all equipment speed and output. May operate material handling equipment Performs routine Type I/II cleaning of packaging equipment/facility Complies with all Caraco policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.

Job Qualifications: Solid and working knowledge of cGMP regulations and safety procedures. Ability to write and articulate observations with clarity. Demonstrated ability to document and follow instructions without deviation. Basic packaging methods and procedures.

Work Experience:

Must have two (2) years prior of industrial related experience or have successfully completed a job industrial training program (Preferred industry Pharmaceuticals).


High School Diploma or GED Certification. (Some College or Associate Degree Preferred)
