My client is looking for Aviation Systems Engineers for contract positions in the Denver Metro area.
This is for a possible project. Estimated start date is mid-late July. The project involves modifications to existing aircraft. This is a 3-4 month assignment with possible extension.
The client is looking for Avionics/Electrical Systems Engineers and Structural/Mechanical Engineers who have experience with Part 23 aircraft.
Here are some general requirements:
Support the Engineering department on requests related to all aspects of Aircraft Systems Integration, including electrical/mechanical/structural modifications from concept to certification. Participate in projects related to technical reliability issues that directly affect cost of operations, warranty costs, and customer satisfaction.
Skills/Qualifications
BS degree or equivalent in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and 5-8 years of related experience
Strong aviation knowledge including compliance with FAR Part 23 and other foreign authority requirements
CAD application knowledge (Unigraphics, Solid Edge, ORCAD), CAE application knowledge (Nastran)
Knowledgeable in computer programs such as Teamcenter, Sharepoint, Quantum, and MS Office
Database development experience preferred
Demonstrated project management and task prioritization skills
Excellent writing and presentation skills
