Responsibilities include solicitation, negotiations and formation of large subcontracts and procurements under multiple type pricing arrangements (CPFF, T&M, and FFP). Senior Subcontract Administrator will work independently with little supervision, but will report to the Lead Procurement. Senior Subcontract Administrator to develop subcontract agreements with appropriate terms, conditions, and clauses in compliance with the prime contract and federal and DOD required regulations. Senior Subcontract Administrator will issue Task/Delivery-Funding documents and Purchase Orders under subcontract agreements (as delivery orders).
Subcontract Administrator will work with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to develop requests for quotation and proposals, Statement of Work(s) and final subcontracts and purchase orders.
Some travel may be required, including to the middle east for temporary assignment.
The candidate must be knowledgeable in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR and DFAR), Contract Law, and the Uniform Commercial Code. Knowledge in all types of sophisticated procurements, from labor hour direct charge, equipment leases, Software Licensing and construction contracts to consulting and teaming agreements.
The position requires the candidate be familiar with compliance of DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR).
Bachelors Degree required, Over 7 years experience in a DoD purchasing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
