The Senior Python Developer will be focused on agile development, which incorporates automated testing at development time. You will also interact with onsite "customers" for requirements and implementation.
This position involves: web application development, aircraft messaging, flight planning and mapping, using open-source software, and object-oriented programming.

- Eight or more years of software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented design background (Python preferred, Java, C++).
- Working knowledge of Linux.
- Database understanding (ARINC Direct currently uses PostgreSQL and Oracle).
- Web 2.0 / AJAX skills.
Education and Certification Required:
- Geospatial image creation, wireless-web application development, relational database integration, rapid/agile development methodologies.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience. Amount of Travel Required for Position 0 - 25
