BFA Acting Assistant

BYU has an opening for a full-time faculty position in its BFA
Acting program for stage/screen. Primary teaching responsibilities
will be in voice, diction, and dialects. Additional teaching will
include courses in acting, audition technique, improvisation, and
acting in music theatre, as well as an annual university directing
assignment. Professional creative work in acting and/or directing
is expected. This position will include appropriate administrative
responsibilities, student advisement and regular service within the
department, university, community, and national professional
organizations. Terminal degree required; MFA in acting preferred.
Training in a specific voice and speech pedagogy will be heavily
considered. Preference given to candidates with a record of
professional work in acting and/or directing, voice coaching, and
