Assure quality products, processes and services throughout the organization by establishing and maintaining quality standards. Duties: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide the necessary interface for regulatory and quality assurance representatives and auditors as needed.
Maintain quality assurance personnel by hiring, training, scheduling, and monitoring staff as required.
Ensure the quality management system is current and applicable. Verify that policies, procedures and government requirements are enforced.
Research, qualify, and recommend to management, accredited registrars for facility registration of the Quality Management System (QMS) when necessary.
Maintain quality records and reports for audits, calibration, corrective actions, customer complaints, RMAs, nonconformance, contract reviews, test and inspection reports, quality manual distribution, test certificates, material certifications, vendor quality history and other necessary quality related records and reports.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
Co-chair, along with the Senior Vice President of Operations, the Management Review of the QMS.
Carry out other such duties as the Senior Vice President of Operations may deem necessary.
Qualifications: POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
At least 3 years experience in and knowledge of quality management, internal auditing, Intermediate computer skills.
