Lead team to manage on-site and off-site hotel room blocks along with the appropriate venue space for each event, partner with Team Leaders to determine priorities for space to resolve conflicts and ensure all hotel rooms are input accurately into the DREAMS and the Disney Sales and Catering System. Manage preparation of rooms contracts for all third party clients and travel partners for Disney Sports events and for travel agent bookings for individual teams (groups) for Disney Created events. Partner with Walt Disney World® Resorts, Product and Pricing , Revenue Management and Travel Industry Sales Good Neighbor Hotel Sales Managers to ensure the most favorable room rates and terms for Disney Sports Events.
Basic Qualifications
  • Proven experience and strong understanding of Hotel Rooms and venue space management
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills
  • Demonstrated strong negotiating and influencing abilities
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to learn new software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Siebel, DSCS, DREAMS, KNOWLEDGE
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work flow for accomplishing client needs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook, etc)
  • Demonstrated customer service or sales experience
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability as a team leader
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict/resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas

Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent
