This position will greet and interact with guests and escort them to the tables or waiting area. Ensure a positive guest impression.
Greet guests, escort them to tables or outlet waiting area, provide menus and communicate guest arrival to server.
Operate the outlet table scheduling system. Assign guest to tables suitable to their needs.
Assist in maintaining general cleanliness of the waiting area, dining area and coat room. Check restrooms for cleanliness as needed.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette. Communicate special guests needs to appropriate leaders.
Ensure empty tables are cleared and reset properly. Assist servers and server assistants as required.
Perform assigned side work through out the shift.
Place menus, wine lists or appetizer menus throughout the restaurant. Collect, store and maintain menus appropriately.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage products. Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
Maintain communication with management, kitchen staff, serving staff, and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred. Good communication skills required.
