We are currently seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for Embedded Software Core competency, hands-on experience with Embedded Software development tools (compilers, linkers & debuggers) This position will design to prototype process such as requirements generation, design reviews, implementation and validation of design. Demonstrate knowledge of automotive production launch schedules, principles, and design process requirements including design-of-experiments (robust engineering). Knowledge of and prior work experience with design, development, and test engineering of electronics products; excellent oral and written communication skills. High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, training in computer applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word. Must be outgoing and aggressive and good organizational skills.
Skills Desired:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree of Science in Mechanical, Electrical / Electronic or Computer Engineering required or Masters of Science in Electrical / Electronic or Computer Engineering preferred. Four to seven years product development design including controls, embedded software, algorithm development and automotive production experience. Experience in automotive embedded software development, knowledge of algorithm development in Simulink and auto-code generation of embedded software. Must have experience within vehicle communication protocols such as UDS, GMLAN, and KWP2000 and in writinge embedded software in C. Knowledge within CAN tools such as Vector CANape, CANoe, Vehicle Spy, etc; and work well in a multi-discipline group to resolve issues. Experience with software developmental life cycle including version control, change management and configuration management. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills; hands-on experience with Embedded Software development tools (i.e. Compilers, assemblers, linkers & debuggers). Fixed-point experience a plus.
