Will provide support for the development and maintenance of existing computer and infrastructure systems onsite at a Federal Government field office. Will perform systems analysis to identify system and application requirements; troubleshoot and restore systems (workstations and servers) to operational status; and support development of new documentation, and the update of existing documentation. Will interface with the government customer and technical team to develop plans for the deployment of new systems. Will also be responsible for providing tier 1 support for the approximately 25 onsite users and tier 2 support for the network infrastructure. Will be the lead network administrator for the organizational consolidated data center.
5 years of Computer Systems Administration experience with 2 years working in a data center or server environment. Working knowledge of network infrastructure, Server Room Maintenance and Management. Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server systems and support of Dell workstations and servers. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously.
Good communication (both written and oral) and documentation skills.
