The Treasury and Payments Services department has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst III to serve as a liaison between the Treasury business customers and IT organizations. In this role, the BA III plans, analyzes, develops, tests, monitors, implements and/or supports the operations of complex full lifecycle systems. The individual may support the creation of user requirements/objectives and implement requirements management and project management processes. In addition, the BA III resolves application-related user problems, creates data queries, and acts as user liaison. This critical role will also be responsible for performing specific assignments under supervision of a manager or a more senior team member and will support information security and business continuity activities. ***The hiring range is $63,504 - $85,000 annually

The Code is available on the About Us Careers webpage at www.richmondfed.org ***Apply on line at www.richmondfed.org Additional Responsibilities Performs and monitors application daily operations and supports application change management processes across multiple platforms and environments when applicable Ensures operational efficiency and effectiveness through continuous monitoring and reporting Effectively scopes projects and tasks, sets objectives, establishes timelines, develops schedules and assigns tasks appropriately Effectively solves problems by employing end-to-end thinking Coordinates resolution and communication of application related user problems Effectively balances multiple priorities with tight deadlines Develops and maintains operational and user documentation Effectively communicates and interacts across the organization to make a positive impact Understands and applies project management methodologies Effectively develops data queries and conducts data analysis Actively seeks and implements process improvement opportunities Supports information security and business continuity activities Effectively develops and documents business requirements when applicable Participates in the implementation of new application releases when applicable Develops and maintains internal procedures to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve System and/or U.S. Treasury requirements Interacts with management and team members by attending and participating in application/project conference calls, status meetings, and planning sessions; provides advice and guidance to management regarding options and alternatives and assessing the impact of business and operational decisions Education/Requirements/Technical Competencies Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required Five or more years of related experience beyond Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Work experience includes three years of project management experience Demonstrated leadership experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written along with exceptional interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles Demonstrated problem solving skills in support of organizational goals PMP or CBAP certification is preferred Strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to elicit and document business requirements Ability to build and maintain confidence and trust May be subject to extended work hours, including on-call support Contingency and remote site support required Ability to travel and to transport laptop PC daily to and from work Position Core Competencies Customer Focus - Understanding customer needs Drive for Success - Achieving results and delivering service excellence Teamwork - Working together to achieve organizational and team goals Effective Communication - Actively listening, communicating openly, and tailoring messages to audience needs Innovation - Generating valuable ideas and translating them into effective business solutions
