This position performs various Procurement related tasks in support of Humana’s operations including, but not limited to, strategic sourcing of goods/services, data analysis, reporting, modeling and supplier management. This person will need to be able to work independently, cross-functionally and use different systems or tools to complete strategic sourcing initiatives, retrieve data, perform financial and non-financial data analysis, develop reports and formulate and communicate recommendations based upon the data.
Engage with the Supplier Profile Management (SPM) team to respond to supplier set up, maintenance, and management requests
Work with Procurement team members and business partners to provide analytical support and leadership
Partner with process leaders to satisfy reporting requirements, associated with compliance, trend, and other Procurement/spend related inquiries
Provide coaching and guidance to associates on the SPM process, reporting & analytics options to satisfy business needs, and related business/compliance considerations
Provide backup and support across the eCommerce team, as needed

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Exceptional analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into action
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Microsoft Office & database proficiency (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Six Sigma certification
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
Certified National Contract Manager (NCM)
Oracle purchasing applications experience
Government-related purchasing a plus
