Cargill Corn Milling North America is a manufacturer of value-added corn and sugar based products serving the Food, Feed and Fermentation segments. From facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas, we provide a wide variety of products and services including high fructose corn syrup, corn syrups, dextrose syrups and sucrose that are used in an array of beverage, brewing, confectionery, food and pharmaceutical applications. We also produce a variety of innovative, dry corn ingredients that are used in cereals, snacks, breads, tortillas and animal feed applications. In addition, we produce fuel-grade ethanol and are a leading supplier of corn oil, acidulants, corn gluten meal and corn gluten feed products.
The Maintenance Supervisor will maintain general Plant equipment, facilities, and grounds. The position will Work with contracted Maintenance supplier and Cargill Maintenance Reliability coordinator planning, scheduling, work completion and work performance maintenance. The position manages emergency work at the facility that is not associated with a production department and will complete facility projects as assigned.
- Work with contracted Maintenance suppliers and Cargill Maintenance Reliability Coordinator planning, scheduling, work completion and maintenance work performance.
- Emergency coordination of resources & contractors
- General plant facility maintenance related items. Mowing /snow removal ect.
- Reliable attendance
- Follows leadership direction
- Communicates well with other
- Work with Reliability Coordinators, Shift leaders and Scheduler in the workflow process
High School Diploma /GED
Five years experience in maintenance, engineering, or production management.
Knowledge of a proactive maintenance model (i.e. planning, scheduling, defect elimination, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems involving multiple technologies
Basic computer skills
Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills
Willingness to challenge status quo
Knowledge of predictive technologies (MCE, vibration, infrared, ultrasound, machinery lubrication)
Experience with corn milling equipment and processes
