We are looking for a meticulous, organized Promotions and Production Manager to ensure timely completion of projects and brand consistency. This role will report to the Brand and Marketing Manager. Please note that this person manages projects, not necessarily people, so a variety of creative profiles with 3-7 years of marketing experience in Ecommerce or Online Retail are encouraged to apply.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage execution of communication and promotional materials.
2. Manage day-to-day production deliverables (not direction setting) from creative services team. In charge of managing staffing and project timing, ensuring workflow is communicated and deadlines are met.
3. Coordinating cross-functional promo team. Activities will include:
  • Maintain multi-channel promotional marketing
  • Soliciting requirements/specs/other assets from
cross-functional partners
  • Develop internal deadlines for each promotional
campaign, and hold partners accountable
  • Manage and prioritize pipeline of projects for
creative team
  • Develop mini-briefs & moodboards for each promo
campaign in collaboration with creative,
editorial, or brand
  • Work with creative team to initiate concepts and
initial copy that align with brief
  • Work with merchandising teams to ensure we have
the right product to promote
  • Liaise with email, social, editorial, merchant
partner, and ad teams to execute coordinated
marketing strategy
4. Identify and work to remove potential bottlenecks
5. Work with business intelligence team to deliver analysis of promotion effectiveness
6. Propose data-driven recommendations to optimize promotional strategy (placement, size, offer, assortment, creative)
7. Provide and implement recommendations for continual improvement of promotions process

  • Outstanding project and people management skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage their and other peoples’ time efficiently
  • Demonstrated success in managing a team, holding teams and individuals accountable for deliverables and deadlines
  • Great at communication and ability to proactively move projects forward with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
  • High energy, self-driven, self-aware, accountable, and excellent at follow-up
  • Interested in the creative process, loves working with creative people, and appreciates or has an eye for great creative
  • Can think flexibly as creative ideas translate across multi-channel promotional marketing strategy (site, e-mail, editorial content, social, merchant partners, PR)
  • 1+ years experience in promotion-driven online retail or the home space
  • Passion for online shopping and the home a plus
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) required
