Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role (Summary)

Lead a team of customer marketers and channel marketers (based in the regions and Madison, NJ) responsible for the full marketing continuum of customer and channel focused strategies and tactics designed to maximize commercial opportunities in the market and ultimately grow the business.

Responsibility Areas

  • Marketing Team Leadership
Accountable for the development and implementation of all regional, customer and channel marketing activities

Lead the development of regional customer and channel marketing priorities and plans to drive growth

Nurture positive interactions among the commercial marketers, cross-functional teams and strategic partners

Guide the learning and development of marketing team members to drive best in class marketing

  • Insight & Expertise
Foster development of a strong level of insight into regional customers and channels among team members and their partners; Lead distillation of a fact base into actionable market and customer insight for the organization

Provide voice of customer into the strategic planning process

  • Customer and Channel marketing strategy and tactic development
Lead the marketing plan development of impactful customer and channel marketing strategies to better position the Quest’s value proposition and enables growth for the entire portfolio

Lead the design of highly impactful and innovative tactical plans aligned to customer and channel strategies that minimizes incremental spend while maximizes incremental opportunities

Manage rollout all tactical elements of the regional customer and channel marketing strategies

Manage deployment of non-personal promotion customer marketing efforts (eg, multichannel, etc.)

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize insights into prioritized marketing opportunities;
  • Strong strategic marketing plan development and track record of plan execution excellence to drive performance
  • Best in class people leadership skills with track record of motivating and developing key marketing talent

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Business degree preferred
  • 10 years success in a marketing role; min 3 years team leadership
  • Up to 50% business travel required
