As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for interacting with clients and prospective customers, helping them understand how Cargill Feed and Nutrition can provide solutions for them and improve their profitability. Consultants should have expertise in retail sales and business expertise; this position will include a focus on equine beef and wildlife.
As a consultant you will:
Establish and build effective customer relationships with existing customers and prospects
Actively prospect new customers to grow market share and brand recognition in a defined geography.
Work with customers to enhance the profitability of their business
Work closely with team members to solve complex customer issues with a multiple touch point approach
Provide communication between the customer and business management team
Establish a strategy for the territory to include growth plans, marketing and merchandising
Provide critical input to the business management team
2+ years of sales experience
Experience in retail sales and merchandising
Proven ability to build strong customer relationships
Proven ability to grow a sales territory
Equine sales experience
Feed industry sales experience
