This position provides high quality care to promote the enhancement of health and prevention of illness. 1. Performs assessments, as well as educates and counsels the patient. 2.
Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to develop appropriate patient care plans. Completes paperwork. 3. Participates in quality assurance activities.
4. Will work in direct partnership with our Inpatient Psychiatrist responding to consults in the hospital. 5. Accountabilities will vary depending on specialty area.
Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority. Also required are: an advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
