Responsibilities include: Build trust among the community as a whole Advise clients on technique and messaging regarding community management Serve as coach for new and potential community managers Design and implement community strategy Proactively listen to and connect with individual community members Model appropriate and ‘good ’ community behavior Serve as the liaison between the company and the community around tech requests, issues, crowd-sourced questions, etc. Proactively escalate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the executive team. Develop relevant, compelling content (blog spots, posts, articles, podcasts, videos and screen shots) to share with and invite conversation Identify community thresholds for content and conversation Develop long-term community goals and translate them into day to day communications, work plans, and action items Develop metrics and assessment tools for measuring growth of community Develop clear weekly and monthly metrics reports; include recommendations Develop crisis management plans for the organization Identify and analyze issues, patterns and trends in community activity and growth Identify core users in the community and develop them into content creators, ambassadors, champions, advocates Requirements: Bachelors degree Minimum 5-8 years of Marketing, Communications, Community Management Excellent communicator in a variety of formats: written " spoken; in person and online; one-on-one and individually. Seasoned facilitator/presenter Strong understanding of multiple sectors (e.g.
private, public, non-profit) Willingness to travel ~25% Good sense of humor Start up environment with tremendous growth opportunities.
