A growing leading sporting goods brand at West Belt and I-10 is looking for a Vice President of Sales. Provide leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Determines plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities.
Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to increase and maintain market share.
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partner
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Directs product research and development.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
Direct sales order processing, including managing sales assistants
Cultivate effective staff to maintain productivity
Discover and resolve customer complaints
Generate sales reports to identify trends with customers, products, and pricing
Enhance access to and usefulness of sales information
Assist in development and implementation of upgraded CRM software
Manage and review sales trends with our CRM software
Maintain and secure pipeline by using Outlook
Establish and implement short and long range goals, policies, and operating procedures
Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of products
Minimum 5-6 years of B2B sales management/supervisory experience
15+ years working experience, with 5+ years in Operations or Sales
Experience working with CRM and Great Plains software
Ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight timeframes
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management skills, including ability to craft solutions quickly
Diligent work ethic and be stable and dependable.
Systematic thinking, the ability to persuade and exhibit effective training skills.
