Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Project Architect with a positive, collaborative work style, for our Service Retail Studio in our Charlotte Office.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be an ambitious, creative Project Architect who is passionate about design and is looking to improve the performance of our clients through creative collaboration and breakthrough ideas.

The individual selected for this opportunity will be supporting the Studio Principal and Project Manager for the Service Retail team with design, sketching, maintaining a program database of details and consistently applying those details in renovations. This candidate will have strong technical capabilities with proficiency in detailing in both AutoCAD and Revit . He / She will also need to develop construction documents and coordinate drawings with engineers and members of the Service Retail studio in the DC and potentially the LA offices of Little.

Ideal candidates will have the following Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the architecture & design industry;
  • Architectural registration (or on track) is preferred;
  • Experience working on Retail or other fast-paced projects with the ability to come up with creative solutions to problems quickly;
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit is required; Sketch-up, Photoshop and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills also desired.
