Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager / Director
We are currently hiring a Sr. Human Resources Manager / Director for our client, a leading multi-national technology firm based in the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale Florida area. (Details below)
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the companyÃ¢ÂÂs CEO. Ideal candidates will have 5+ of HR / Human Resources Management experience.
This role, which reports directly to the CEO, will be responsible for managing HR policies, processes and all other Human Resources activities for an international company with over 5+ locations in both the US and Europe.
Promote a positive atmosphere striding to increase employee engagement while developing an employee-oriented culture.
Create training and development plans to meet personal, professional, and organizational expectations.
Head employee relations, perform exit interviews, analyze trends and develop improvement initiatives.
Head annual merit pay delivery in accordance with internal policies
Review job descriptions and assign level of responsibility and insuring competitive pay practices.
Manage and ensure that the firm is in compliance with all governmental and labor organizations, and heading the preparation on any information required by compliance and laws.
Serving as a point of contact for employment law attorneys and any outside government agencies.
Participating in programs such as Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Department of Labor and the OFCCP, Workers Compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc. Reduce company exposure to litigation, fines, and penalties.
Create a strategic recruitment plan managing all processes including identification, sourcing and hiring of top industry talent.
Insure complete new hire training and on-boarding.
Leading the implementation of a Performance Management System encompassing of annual and mid-year activity and review.
Support the Annual Review process for development, and succession planning.
Mediate workplace disputes.
Evaluate the departmentsÃ¢ÂÂ current state and striving to improve human resources data management.
Maintain an organizational structure and sufficient staffing levels to achieve company goals.
Recommend outsourcing opportunities and identifying preferred vendors.
Manage annual budgets for the department and perform occasional cost and productivity analyses.
Work with stake holders to develop three and five year business plans for the firm and Human resources department.
Experience, Knowledge and Training
5+ years of HR experience in a technology company covering all aspects of Human Resources Management, including employment, compensation, employee relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, training and development, domestic and international mobility.
BA, preferred in Human Resources Management, Labor Law, or Social Science, or related field
Working knowledge of HRIS systems, employment law, and contemporary human resources practices.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired.
Excellent leadership qualities and skills.
Strong presentation skills.
