Responsible for assisting thedevelopment and maintaining a strong and cohesive Deli Ice Cream Shop /Concessions team. Assists in overseeing all activity in the departmentmaintaining the highest standards in cost control, budgeting, cleanliness, foodsafety, customer service and overall organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES: I. Service StandardsA.Assists in the creation and implementation of across-the-board standards forDeli Ice Cream Shop outlets, maintaining quality food products andremarkable customer service in all outlets and operations.1. Works with Deli Manager and Food Service team inkeeping concept current and fresh.2.
Assists to oversee the production and rotation ofall food products.3. Provides a learning environment through dailytraining.4. Insures that the Deli is clean and organized at alltimes.5.Assists in the creation of and trains on standards for all positions andinsures that all standards are being maintained and enforced.6.Exhibits job and product knowledge sufficient to provide (personally as well asstaff) guests with accurate information in all aspects of product, service, andproperty information.7.Exhibits self-confidence and a disposition necessary to project a positiveimage to Thanksgiving Point guests as well as a being a role model foremployees. B.Will organize, and run all concessions events, including staffing, set-up, andtake down.
Attending all public events meetings and reporting back to ensure wehave all pertinent information for the scheduled events that we will beparticipating in.II. OperationsA.Responsible for all Deli Ice Cream Shop and Concessions operations,including but not limited to: 1.Controls costs and is responsible for assisting to achieve budgeted percentagesfor labor, applicable operating expenses and food costs.2. Assists in monthly inventories.3. Assists management in day-to-day operations.
Givesdaily skill development training to staff.4. Assist in overseeing the proper storage,maintenance and security all food and service equipment.5. Attends and participates in Thanksgiving Pointmeetings as required.6.Monitors employee morale and assists with reviews for all Deli Ice CreamShop employees as well as assisting with the hiring, firing, training andscheduling of all Deli Ice Cream Shop personnel.7. Insures that all Deli Ice Cream Shop areasand food production areas are compliant with Utah County Health codes.8.Ensures staff is practicing safe and responsible food handling practices aswell as maintaining clean and orderly work areas.9.
