Product Specialist / Software Product Team Member
In your current position or a previous position, you are/were a business analyst / product team type person. You know how to take charge, gather, understand and write business requirements.
In the past, you have excelled in understanding requirements and developing the feedback into deliverables. You may have been a project manager type person that interacts with clients to understand their needs and can communicate requirements internal and externally. You know how manage a complex process and facilitate cross functional communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Description: Someone who is responsible for researching, analyzing, documenting and communicating new software requirements for our product that would like to grow into a Product Management role.
Understanding business process management and business requirements of our customers and market, and then translating into specific software requirements.
Strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and ability to draw out customer's needs to be transformed into application and operational requirements.
Making sure that the solution recommended is not client specific, but can be used on a global scale.
Documenting and analyzing the required information and data with managing from idea generation to post live support.
Interview SME’s to collect detailed requirements.
Understanding the technical designs as well as the specifications.
Gather and evaluate the information by conducting surveys, webinars, one-on-one as well as conference calls.
Effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like UI screen and interface designs.
Acting as an interface between clients, business units, technology teams and support teams
3+ years of experience as a software business analyst or as a software product team member.
Exceptional problem solving skills
Experience with new product planning and delivery from concept to delivery
Working knowledge of Agile software development process preferred.
Strong work ethic and effective communication skills, both written and orally.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Ability to work effectively alongside both software engineers and client-facing technical and business support staff.
Project Management experience desired, such as a Team Leader.
Willingness to adhere to and analyze standards/procedures while consistently looking for ways to improve processes.
Ability to work successfully alongside personnel from other departments, both technical and non-technical, when executing daily responsibilities, and as a contributor to cross-functional projects of broad scope.
Payment technologies experience preferred
Experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company preferred.
