Since 1974, Product Safety Labs (EPSL) has provided research and testing services to the agrichemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement/functional foods, personal care, animal health, biotechnology and household product industries. We offer a broad range of services including toxicology, analytical and bioanalytical chemistry and pharmacology.We are looking for an Inhalation Scientist at our Dayton, NJ LabSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to trouble shoot mechanical issues. Set-up and conduct experiments in accordance with Protocol and SOP's. Meticulously maintain precise records of all experiments in accordance with GLP's. Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision. Follow all PSL safety requirements. Prepare animals for dosing, necropsy and other procedures. Dose animals, weigh animals, evaluate responses, perform necropsies, and collect tissue specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures and protocols. Other study duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess strong mechanical skills. Inhalation experience desired, but not required. B.S. degree or equivalent experience in laboratory animal science or biology is preferred. 0-2 years' experience with standard acute toxicology tests desired, preferably in a GLP environment. High integrity and have a very strong sense of responsibility. Well organized, capable of adapting to a broad spectrum of responsibilities and able to maintain meticulous and accurate records. Humane treatment of all animals and adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP) is of utmost importance. The individual holding this position must be of highest integrity and have a very strong sense of responsibility and be proactive. He/she must be mature, well organized, capable of adapting to a broad spectrum of responsibilities and able to maintain meticulous and accurate records. Computer proficiency, excellent communication skills, knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's) and a strong work ethic are essential requirements for this position.
