Job Summary:
Flagstar Bank is seeking a candidate to join our funding team as an funder. This individual will be responsible for balancing the HUD 1 Settlement to the Good Faith Settlement in our mortgage system. This individual will also fund the loans.

Handles customer’s issues.

Performs data entry duties.

Prepares loans for funding.

Prepares wires for premium payments.

Reviews and processes loan adjustments.

Reviews documents for problems.

Solves mortgage insurance issues found in post-closing reviews.

Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

High school diploma or GED required.

Associates degree is strongly preferred

Ability to multi-task.

A minimum of 2 years previous mortgage loan or title agency experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent data entry skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to use a 10 key calculator.

Strong math aptitude.

Works well under pressure.

Competently utilize computer software – MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, Macros, Accuterm, Mortrac, Sage, Quatto Pro, Fedline, Glenn, the Internet and email are an integral part of day to day activity.

Ability to work regularly scheduled hours, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday, overtime may be required upon business need.
