We operate multiple cancer care facilities across the country — offering a variety of cancer imaging, chemotherapy, radiation therapy services and support services, all under one roof. Our Rocky Mountain Oncology Center (RMOC) located in Casper, WY is seeking an experienced Community Liaison. Job Purpose: Role is to enforce and elevate RMOC’s community and state presence. This includes, but is not limited to: free cancer screenings, special event fund raising activities, community relations and corporate partnering, educational/informational offerings for the general public, medical community, and cancer patients about RMOC’s services, patient care and physicians. Duties: • Produce and coordinate health screenings, educational offerings, and fund raising events including: advertising, logistics, obtaining event sponsors, creating and maintaining vendor relations, assembling sponsor packets, soliciting auction items, organizing and managing event activities and recruiting and managing event volunteers/supporters. • Create and maintain detailed event databases to analyze fund raising/participation performance • Plan a yearly calendar of events/activities with projected goals of revenue, growth and statewide expansion. • Identify and grow corporate and individual supporter base. • Works with staff on design elements and event promotion. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Ensures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved. • Perform any other functions as required by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements: • Two years minimum equivalence in event planning or nonprofit event planning. • Ability to work a flexible schedule (including overtime, and weekends, as necessary).
