Access Control Specialist (Job Number: 1301979)
The Access Control Specialist (ACS) will fingerprint and photograph all individuals requiring company identification cards. The ACS will be responsible for the maintenance of photograph and fingerprint records for the company-wide population. The ACS will interact with Human Resource Managers to coordinate the scheduling and logistics for the fingerprinting, signature capturing, and photographing of newly hired employees, and when applicable, non employees, contractors, and vendors. The ACS will issue replacement ID cards for those that are lost or stolen. The ACS will handle fingerprint card and electronic processing inquiries, access authorization emails, access authorization request forms, and daily access control requirements. The ACS must ensure that all fingerprint records and the data entered has been checked for accuracy, submitted and filed accordingly. The ACS will review the received Fingerprint Results notifications from the FBI and coordinate all responses and notifications to Human Resources within the expected time frame. This position requires direct and immediate interaction with Global Corporate Security Managers handling security projects regarding the installations and programming of the Access Control & Digital Video Recording CCTV Security Management Systems. The ACS will have direct interaction with various Business Unit managers and or their designee to review and confirm their operational access control level requirements. The ACS must be cross trained on all of the Access Control systems and maintain basic Access Control Operation knowledge. The ACS will assist in obtaining requested Data Center quarterly access audit and verification reports, and assist in their submission to authorized requestors. The ACS will assist in issuing biannual access audit and verification reports for all areas deemed to be restricted. The ACS will be required to travel, on occasion, to off-site locations to fingerprint subjects. The ACS may be called upon to supervise contract guard staff assigned to the Access Control Area. The person in this position should be an experienced Security Guard who is knowledgable and with familiar with Security Command Center operations as the ACS must understand the enterprise wide impact this position will have.
H.S. Diploma. Bachelors preferred. 2 years. 5 years preferred. Computer Skills (MS Office Suite). FBI Fingerprint Training Program/Scientific Basics of Fingerprints,CPR & AED; Security Guard certification, Security Comand Center experience.
