Duties include data entry and packaging of new orders and refill orders for residents of facilities serviced by the pharmacy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Able to decipher and accurately enter orders for new and refill prescriptions.
Able to assist when needed with C2 new orders and refills.
Package prescribed medications and affix labels.
Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas.
Provide excellent customer service by answering non-clinical related phone inquiries.
Experience with claim adjudication.
Quickly process incoming faxes including directing them to appropriate department.
Help provide prompt customer service by assisting staff in answering phones.
Ability to swiftly and accurately maintain workflow in high-volume long-term care pharmacy.
10. Understand technical terms and processes.
11. Shifts vary within hours of operation which are Mon-Fri 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sat 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
