The Project Manager I drives customer satisfaction and business growth through the successful management of DSSI system implementation projects.

Strategic Business Unit:
Direct Supply DSSI is an online purchasing and reporting system for Senior Living corporations that provides a single source for automated procurement and spend management, which in turn drives purchasing compliance and optimized efficiency.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Gather project requirements including client’s project definition, requirements and business needs to set clear project scope.
Create project plans; analyze and document all existing information on project objectives, deliverables, schedules, assumptions, constraints and dependencies.
Communicate project status and problems to project stakeholders. Assess project risks, identify solutions and work with business sponsors to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Manage changes to projects – understand and communicate the impact of changes to a project’s scope, schedule and cost.
Provide continuous communication with key stakeholders (customers, suppliers, internal partners, project team members, and leadership) to ensure they are updated and engaged.
Negotiate scope, costs, and schedule objectives with project stakeholders.
Complete projects in accordance with established service level agreements and quality standards.
Drive customer satisfaction regarding their DSSI implementation experience.
Manage Project Team
Set performance expectations for project teams and provide feedback to individual team members.
Motivate and provide recognition to project team members.
Manage project teams of 2-5 people or more.
Monitor and track project expenses.
Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Verify scope of work for projects and identify gaps in information prior to final contract.
Provide technical input on the configuration of projects for projects where technical assistance is needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field
2+ years of experience managing software or other technical projects
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and meet deadlines
Ability to adapt within a constantly changing environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Proficiency in Microsoft Project
Project Management (PMP) certification a plus
Knowledge of the DSSI system a plus
