BASIC JOB FUNCTION:|
Work with adolescents in placement conducting recreation activities daily during the hours of 4-9pm. All activities are designed to address socialization skills and or positive peer and staff interactions.
Schedule and conduct art/arts and craft activities (individual and group)
Monitor and record participation in program
Administer recreation “inventory” check list to new admits
Complete resident Habilitation assessment
Complete monthly resident notes
Comply with agency mandated trainings (TCI, CPR…).
Education/Degree: Bachelor of Arts.
Years of Experience: 1+
Other skills and requirements: Experience with special needs children and running individual and group activities , athletic .energetic.
