Financial Engines is currently seeking a qualified Investment Advisor Associate to join our Advisor Center team. The Advisor Center supports clients in our advisory and investment management programs. The position involves receiving calls and assisting with account management while providing superior customer service. Positions are available in our Phoenix office.
Servicing clients in our advisory and investment management programs through phone and email channels.
Answering questions from prospective clients with the end goal of achieving enrollment targets for corporate clients.
Assisting clients in developing plans to achieve financial goals through gathering relevant information.
Delivering a superior level of service quality and communicating performance of investment portfolios.
Providing ongoing service and support throughout the management cycle of the client’s account with the goal of retaining clients who are suited for the program.
Gathering feedback from customers on program offerings.
Resolving complex customer concerns and problems regarding retirement planning and investment strategies in a timely manner.
Ensuring client interactions are in compliance with the Professional Management program and regulatory procedures.
Serving as escalation liaison between our clients/partners and our Operations and Sales teams to ensure that client commitments are met.
Maintain awareness of future client commitments and how they relate to overall enrollment targets.
Helping to build an environment that values teamwork, open communication, collaborative problem resolution and a strong sense of urgency to resolve client issues.
Providing suggestions for how service delivery and associated tools and processes should be enhanced.
Strong preference that candidate currently hold the Series 65 or Series 7/66 combination. If not currently held, the Series 65 must be passed after hiring as a condition of employment.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years financial services industry experience required, preferably with a brokerage, investment advisory firm, or Retirement Plan Record-Keeper.
Strong client service skills and a true passion for exemplary customer service.
Very strong communication skills with experience working with internal and external clients.
Knowledge of mutual funds and employer sponsored retirement plans a plus.
Detail oriented and the ability to prioritize issues for appropriate escalation.
Demonstrated track record of success in working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in Spanish a plus.
