Job Description:

Working as a SEM Sales Manager, you will be a subject matter expert for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) offerings of You will manage to the assigned sales objectives and goals of the sales agents and local sales offices.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned territory and clients effectively and meet and exceed individual revenue objective
  • Work closely with the sales office management team to promote, integrate and meet the objectives of SEM
  • Work with local sales representatives to assist in the sale of SEM products through field coaching, training and collateral
  • Deliver sales presentations to local YP advertisers in coordination with the local sales representative
  • Effectively meet the needs of the sales agent by integrating daily practices with SEM best practices
  • Coordinate and act as a liaison with customer service/helpdesk representatives and the YP sales force
  • Obtain leads for upsell opportunities from sales agent, cold-calls and networking follow-up and secure appointments
  • Conduct one-on-one and group SEM product line training sessions with local sales force and structure sales contests as needed
  • Attend sales office regional meetings to keep apprised of YP developments
  • Work with local and regional providers of content for cross-promotional, reciprocal linking and business development initiatives
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products
Required Qualifications:
  • Two or more year experience selling Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization business to business
  • Two or more years direct business-to-business sales experience
  • Two or more years direct Internet/advertising sales experience
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, preferred
  • One or more years sales training experience, preferred
  • Google AdWords certified, preferred
  • T wo or more years’ experience selling mobile advertising, preferred
