Emory Healthcare is seeking experienced Nurse Techs desiring to join our high performing team. We have Registry/PRN positions available across the system if you are seeking flexible schedules. Please apply to this posted position.
Some duties you would perform include but not limited to:
Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
Monitors and operates patient care equipment.
Performs specialized technical patient care procedures. Maintains a clean and healthy environment.
Communicates with patients and members of the health care team and relays appropriate information to provide comprehensive patient care.
Reinforces patient and family teaching.
Participates in the orientation of staff to the unit and precepts nursing technicians on the unit. As part of a patient focused service, promotes a supportive and healing environment to enhance customer and staff satisfaction. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a Nursing Technician training program and certification by the State of Georgia as a Certified Nursing Assistant or currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nurse program and have completed two clinical semesters. Must be BLS certified.
