Ally's Commercial Finance unit provides financing to middle-market companies across a broad range of industries.
General Purpose of Position:
Represent Ally as the primary interface to the entire dealership organization.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key dealership personnel.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all Ally’s products, plans and programs.
Market and promote the full breadth of Ally’s products and services including commercial banking products (when available).
Identify, pursue and maximize all avenues of revenue opportunities.
Coordinate with key product specialists on the team to provide assistance, training and consultative services to all assigned Dealers.
Act as the liaison between dealers and the Regional Business Centers (RBC).
Identify, communicate and develop recommendations for handling dealer concerns.
Operating Metrics – 70% time spent
Retail Risk Adjusted revenue (All inclusive – Standard & Incentivized & Used, OEM & Diversified)
Insurance – F&I Revenue
Smart Auction Revenue
Annualized Revenue from New Wholesale & Commercial Loans booked)
– 30% time spent
Acquisitions – support, communicate and liaise with designated Consumer Underwriters.
Training – identify training needs of dealer personnel and engage the appropriate Product Specialists.
Support Commercial Lending - identify wholesale and loan opportunities and engage the appropriate RBC personnel.
Assist the RBC in the initial phases of dealer wholesale conversions (first 48 hours).
Continually identify and implement best practices and drive efficiencies.
Promptly complete all assignments

Quarterbacking and leveraging the Matrix Partnerships
Liaison between Sales and Underwriting
Manage Retail commitment
Influence Purchase Policy within Value Proposition
Influence strategic decisions
Push day-to-day activities to Commercial Lending (transition over time)
Full transition on exit dealers
Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical skills
Project management skills
Must be an independent worker with strong time management skills
Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principals and decision makers
Well developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills
Ability to function effectively in a matrix organization
Strong F&I sales skills desired
Business related undergraduate degree or equivalent training
